个人简介

Dr Goi received her B.S. and M.S. in physics from the University of Trieste, Italy. In 2018 she was awarded her Ph.D. from RMIT University, Australia, under the supervision of Prof. Min Gu, researching advanced biomimetic optical materials and topological photonic systems. She is currently a Research Fellow and Professor of Special Term in USST, Shanghai, China. Dr Goi published more than 20 articles in international journals, including Nature Communications, Light Science & Applications, Laser & Photonic Reviews, Advanced Optical Materials, and PhotoniX, with an H-index of 8 (www.scholar.google.com). Her work received several recognitions from CUDOS and the Optical Society of America, and her contributions to the field of optical AI were recognized through the award of a Shanghai Overseas High-Level Talent (2021), the National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scholar fund (2022), the Innovation action plan from the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation (2021) and the Shanghai Rising-Star Program (2021).

研究方向

Dr Goi’s research field is nanophotonics, focusing on the study of the interaction of nanometer-scale objects with light, in particular dielectric 3D periodic structures called photonic crystals and metasurfaces. She is an expert in a variety of nanofabrication techniques, such as laser-assisted three-dimensional (3D) nanolithography, super-resolved two-beam nanolithography, atomic layer deposition, layer-by-layer deposition of quantum dots and nanoparticles as well as atomic force microscopy. Dr Goi current research interest is the development and implementation of hybrid nanolithographic techniques that enable the study of novel 3D optical materials and architectures for neuromorphic photonics.
